Czech champion Sehnal<\/strong> finished his final run with the time of 3:26,48 which was 86 hundred of a second faster than second placed Slovenian champion Miran Vauh<\/strong> (Blackthorn). Polish champion Slawomir Lukasik<\/strong> (Hiag Data NS Bikes) finished third just .02 behind Vauh. Slovak champion Adam Roj\u010dek<\/strong> (CTM Racing Team) followed in 4th place (that\u2019s right, National Champions in top 4 spots) and another Slovenian Toma\u017e Ora\u017eem<\/strong> (BATT Team) in 5th.<\/p>\n Luka Berginc<\/strong> finished second in the semi-final run and collected enough points to afford a crashed and 36th place in his final run to still take the overall series title.<\/p>\n In women\u2019s race Horvat<\/strong> was 8.77 faster than Primo\u017ei\u010d<\/strong> in second place, junior rider Naja Stipani\u010d<\/strong> (Blackthorn) followed in third.<\/p>\n In men\u2019s UCI category \u017dak Gomil\u0161\u010dek<\/strong> (Sinter Brakes Team) finished as top junior in 11th place and so confirmed his overall title. Hungarian Marcell Ferenczi<\/strong> (Hypno Racing Team) finished 2nd and Croatian Noa Radolovi\u0107<\/strong> (BK TNT Pazin) third.<\/p>\n \u201cI made two mistakes in my final run. I\u2019m really happy I still won,\u201d said Sehnal who won the iXS European Cup in \u0160pi\u010dak this year and finished 32nd in La Bresse World Cup race so he says this is his best season so far. \u201cThe conditions were different that in April\u2019s iXS EDC race and some turns were also done differently so I can\u2019t compare the times. But if Maribor gets to host a World Cup round in 2019 and I get to train over the winter then I may consider another one.\u201d<\/p>\n Marko Niemiz<\/strong> (Sinter Brakes Team) won another U17 race in front of teammate \u017dan Pir\u0161<\/strong>, Croatian Robert Ki\u0161ak<\/strong> (KK Jastrebarsko – WD40 Bike) was third. Niemiz thus defended his spot on top of the series ranking.<\/p>\n But there was a change in the lead in the U15 boys category where \u010crtomir Svetec<\/strong> (\u0160D Supersnurf) finished in front of leader Tomo Joksimovi\u0107 Terpin<\/strong> (Sinter Brakes Team) in both runs to win the overall title. Austrian Nikolas Kolle<\/strong> (Giant Stattegg) won the race in front of Svetec and his teammate Maj Kuhar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n More Giant Stattegg team win in masters and hobby category with Philipp Podbrecnik<\/strong> and Alexander Pall while Urban Napotnik<\/strong> (KD Lignit) won the amateur category.<\/p>\n The Unior Downhill Cup overall trophies will be presented at Slovenian Cycling MTB event later this year.
